JARELL AND NYA'S HOUSE
* he walks in and the house is empty but it smells like Nya and he knows she came home and got her stuff. He walks in the bedroom and turns on the light and the bed was made. He lays on the bed and calls her cell. The answering machine came on at the first ring so he jus changes in his pajamas and goes in the living room and lies on the couch listenin to India Arie’s song “get it together “ on repeat. *

THE KEYS JINGLING IN THE DOOR

Jarell- we need to talk right now (not taking his eyes off the ceiling.)

Nya- I am not in the mood I had a good day don't ruin it (she went to her ex boyfriend's house Jett Jackson)

Jarell- we need to really talk babe I am so serious (walking after her into the bedroom)

Nya- no

jarell- Neeka got killed today (sitting on the bed)

Nya- wat? (eyes gettin watery)

*jarell told her the whole story and every so often she would bend her knees and a tear would fall*

Jarell- the funeral is in two days

Nya- no, no , no (she falls to the floor and cries on her knees)

jarell - come here

Nya- no (shaking her head and crying harder)

Jarell- (now crying) baby please come here I need you

Nya- no you hurt me (crying harder and rocking back and forth)

jarell-(comin and holding you ) please I need you. I messed but I love you I do.

Nya-(resisting his touch ) i hate you I do.. I.. I.. am goin to throw up (she runs to the bathroom and throws up in the toilet)

Jarell- let it out (cryin at the doorway looking at Nya)

Nya-I.. no, she’s gon (holding her stomach)

*jarell helps her up and brings her to the bed as she cries harder thinking about Summer, her parents, and her aunt and uncle, and now Neeka.*

Jarell- i can be good to you. I can please forgive me (he gets on his knees crying because of Neeka and Nya)

Nya- I love you boo i do but I gotta.. I have to go (she gets her bag she packed when she came home in the middle of the day and walked out.)

jarell- Nya (chasing her out the door and to her car.)

Nya- jarell leave me alone I need to think.

Jarell- no please don't leave me (grabbing her hand and pulling her back)

Nya- Jarell don't make me hurt you (she screams and yells and cries all at once trying to get in the car.)

Jarell- please you can't leave (picks her up and brings her in the house)

*she struggles until she gives up and collapses on him and cries. She cries with him holding her in bed until she can't anymore.*

jarell- I love you Ny (kissing her forehead)

*Nya gets in her pajamas and lays in the bed lifeless.*

Jarell- Nya?

Nya- wat?

Jarell- you forgive me? (snuggling up on her side since she was facing the ceiling.)

Nya-...

jarell- do you forgive me

Nya- i have to tell you something

jarell- wat?

Nya- (crying harder) I...

Jarell- wats wrong baby?

Nya- um.. you know that I haven't been completely honest with you this whole time.

Jarell-what do you mean (sitting up from his once comfortable spot)

Nya- um.. a couple weeks ago my ex called me and he asked if he could see me cause he had gotten over the fake that we weren't together so me thinking nothin of it i went and met him at the park.

Jarell- are you trying to tell me that you cheated on me?

Nya- no listen to me... We started talking and um.. I found out that you and summer had sex. I was so mad so I decided to show you.. I don't know like I got so mad that I jus decided to go and get comfort because I didn't want to go to any of my friends cause I knew that they would call you so I went over to his house.

jarell- so wait you didn't have sex ? (still mad that you went over there anyway)

Nya- well not exactly today I was thinking hard about it and I got to into the mood and it jus happened.

jarell- wat? got caught in the mood my a**.

Nya- I know you not tryin to get mad at me cause if it wasn't for you then I wouldn't have to go somewhere to be comforted.

jarell- oh please so wat. You mean to tell me everytime we get in a fight then you will go to his house and jus get caught up in the mood.

Nya- no I mean that.. Okay fluck it put it this way you flucked up and I flucked up so can we jus go to sleep all this sh*t is not working and I am jus goin to go crazy (she starts to cry)

Jarell- I'll see you in the morning (he kisses her on the forehead and walks out the room)

Nya- Im sorry don't go. its later (she runs after him and goes into the living room.)

*he turns around and tears are streaming down his face. he walks out the door and doesn't look back. Nya goes in the room she is about to call You but she can't find her cell phone and she remembers you got the kids so she cries herself to sleep.*

THE NEXT MORNING

U- babe Nya cell phone still ain't working

Dreux- did you call the house?

U- yea I did but they not answerin it (changin Imani)

Dreux- oh well I don't know what to tell you but Jarell cell ain't working either.

U- Im bout to go over there right now

Dreux- don't they prolly fightin or somethin

U-who?

V-how have you been?

U- fine but who is this (giving Imani to Dreux)

U- its someone at the door get a bat. (taking Imani and settin her down next to her brother in there seats.)

Dreux- you know who that is?

U- no they called me on my cell and was like I know where you at Im comin and all that ish. So go answer the door wit knife or somethin.

Dreux- iight (he goes and get a knife and goes to the door and opens it) who?

V- open the door and see

*he opens the door and a woman with long black curly hair like yours stands there with a suitcase in her hands and her eyes are covered by sun glasses althoght the sun hasn't even come out.*

Woman- wait this is where *Y/N* (your old last name ) lives?

Dreux- no this is where *Y/N* Frederic lives she got married to me (letting her in)

Woman- well where is she?

Dreux- may i ask your name first?

Woman- fo sho my name is Hermella but you can calll me Herme. (she extends her hand and he grabs it with no problem)

U- who was it? (walking up holding LIl D)

Herme- hey girl

Dreux- hey babe Ima take the kids to Jhene's and chill wit her for a bit. O should wake up some time iight.

U- kay (handing him Lil D and you guys kiss and you lead Herme to the living room) so where have you been?

Herme- around. girl I am ready to settle down I am so sick of dating and sh*t.

U- girl i gave that up ages ago.

Herme- I see. When did yaw get married?

U- not yet we are holding the ceremony in a bout 3 months though. we have been so stressed and busy with the babies and when I went in to a coma, my parents, and my aunt and uncle died, and now my friend Neeka jus got hit by a car and passed its been alot on everyone.

Herme- sorry to hear that (gettin all silent)

U- so where you stayin?

Herme- I don't know I think ima look around first and pick out a small apartment you know.

U- bull why don't you jus stay here a while?

Herme- I don't wanna impose

U- girl you not. Look I am goin to get dressed and then I gotta go and pick up this movie script and then Ima be home. For now I will show you to your guest room you get unpacked and chill girl act like this is yo house.

*You show her to her room and get dressed and you are out the door to the office to pick up the movie script*

NYA'S HOUSE

*Nya got up and looked around hoping that Rell came back but he didn't. She looked at the phone and no messages so she decided to take go for a run and clear her mind.*


Jarell- Nya? (he yelled a hour after she left) you here Im sorry about last night I had a long time to think and you right we both screwed up so we can go back to normal. Guess you not here.

*he sat down on the couch and India Arie was still playing from the night before on the same track. he turned it up and cleaned the house. *

BACK AT YO HOUSE

O- aye Dreux (comin out half sleep)

Herme- um.. they both left (lookin up from the couch.) hey cutie wat s yo name?

O- my name is Omari but my peeps call me O, and yours is pretty lady? (not trippin off of Neeka too much now huh)

Herme- call me Herme you don't need to know my full name yet?

O- I haven't seen you before how you know them?(sitting beside her)

Herme- me and *Y/N* have been friends a long time

Herme- so yea what do people out here do for fun?

O- I don't know about you but I was goin to take a swim so you can join me and we can get to know one another more.

NYA'S HOUSE

Nya- im home

Jarell- hey babe (hes in the kitchen cooking and candles are lit and the lights are dim)

Nya- look um...

Jarell- listen I love you and I always have it jus took some time for me to be sure that i could really be with only you and I can. We made mistakes but I am willing to work past them if you are.

Nya- i am

Jarell- yes! (he picks you up and spns you around) i made you tofu tacos and then we can sit on the living room and do whatever you want.

Nya- watever i want?

jarell- yep

Nya- good

*They finish the meal and Nya puts the dishes away.*

Jarell- so babe wat do you want to do?

Nya- you know what i want. (she leans over and they start to kiss)

jarell- i miss you so much (he picks her up and brings her into the bedroom)

Nya- I have too (she takes off her clothes and stands before him nutt naked)

*he stares at her in amazement. She strips him down to the ankles and lays over top of him.*

jarell- i love you ( he whispers as she moves up and down on his happy area)

*They continue and they fall asleep althought its the middle of the day.*

AT JHENE'S HOUSE

Dreux- hes taken it hard I think

Jhene- i bet. I can not believe that. she cussed me out and then got hit by a truck.

Dreux- did the guy even stop?

Jhene- nope kept on driven like he ran over a can

*Dreux gets in a small workout class with about five. he decided to try a new one since his old clas stopped having them*

*They did the workout and they were talking and having fun*
